Services & Fees

Adolescent & Individual Counselling
Adult & Adolescent Individual Counselling & Consultation

Available In-Person or Virtually.
$235 per 50 minute session, with sliding scale options available.

Sometimes we just need to talk to someone one-on-one. Individual counselling is offered for adolescents and adults, in brief- or long-term formats, depending on what you are wanting to work on. The goal of an effective individual therapy is to help you reach the outcomes you are hoping for, whether they are related to reductions in distressing symptoms, changes in unwanted or unhelpful behaviours, or improvements in quality of life-- there are many reasons why people may pursue therapy!

Some common reasons people might attend individual therapy include:

  • ADHD

  • Anger Management

  • Anxiety & Panic Disorders

  • Assertiveness & Boundaries

  • Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Burnout

  • Confidence & Self-Esteem

  • Coping Skills

  • Depression & Low Mood

  • Emotion Regulation

  • Grief & Loss

  • Healthy Relationships & Communication

  • Life Transitions

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Stress Management

  • Substance Use & Addictions

  • Suicidal Ideation & Self-Harm

Have a concern that you don't see on this list? Feel unsure of how to describe what is troubling you?

That is okay, please contact me and we can set up a consultation to discuss what you are wanting to work on, and we can see how I can support you with your goals!

Child & Family
Child and/or Family Counselling & Consultation

Available In-Person.
$235 per 50 - 90 minute session, with sliding scale options available.

Parenting is hard, and when we see our child in distress it can be challenging to know just how to help them best. I work with both children and teens, and can do so individually as well as collaboratively with parental support depending on the child's individual needs and goals.

Sometimes, there are problems that are larger than any one person that come up and affect multiple people within a family system. In those times, family counselling is also an option! When working with families, we can build effective strategies across the whole to facilitate meaningful change in the long term that grows with us.

Child sessions may be individual 50 minute sessions, or may be up to 90 minute combined in collaborative sessions if multiple family members or parents are supporting the treatment plan. Family sessions may range from 50 minutes to 90 if the concerns are complex.

Some common child and family concerns I have experience working with include:

  • ADHD

  • Anger Management

  • Anxiety & Panic Disorders

  • Assertiveness & Boundaries

  • Confidence & Self-Esteem

  • Coping Skills

  • Depression & Low Mood

  • Emotion Regulation

  • Family & Life Transitions

  • Grief & Loss

  • Healthy Relationships & Communication

  • Parent Coaching & Support

  • Stress Management

  • Substance Use & Addictions

  • Suicidal Ideation & Self-Harm

Have questions about what child and/or family counselling can look like? You are welcome to contact me at the office and we can set up a consultation to discuss your questions!

What If Therapy Isn't Right for me?

What if this Service isn't the right fit for me?

At the end of the day, I know that not every therapist is going to be the right fit for every person! It is hard enough taking the steps to talk with someone in therapy, and it may feel even more stressful if we aren't sure the therapist is the right one for us. If we have been working together and you feel that the approach we are taking isn't the right one for you, or you dislike the modality or want to tweak the treatment plan-- please let me know! I am more than happy to collaborate and we can adjust the treatment to suit what works best for you.

It is important to me that all people feel supported regardless of whether they decide to work with me as their therapist or not, and ideally if we can avoid people feeling like they have to start the hunt for the right therapist all over again, we will aim for that direction. So if you come through my door and it doesn't feel as though this is the right practice for you, I will happily do my best to help you find the right therapist for the job!

Payment Options
Payment & Billing Options

I accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Visa-Debit, Debit-Mastercard, E-Transfer & Cash.

Depending on your individual health benefit plan and provider, coverage may be available for psychological services and counselling. This coverage, and direct billing eligibility, is determined by your insurance provider. While I can direct bill to some providers, there may be times where you will have to pay for services up front at the clinic, and provide a receipt to your provider for reimbursement. Receipts are emailed immediately after payment, and are available for all appointments with the clinic upon request.

When you book with the clinic online, you will be prompted to enter a credit card to put on file. Many clients choose this option because it is convenient, and it can allow outstanding appointment balances to be paid easily. This also provides a convenient method for payment of direct billing differences, though if you prefer to pay with a different method that can also be arranged. You can manage your credit card and payment options through your client account, or by choosing to pay with a different method at the time of your appointment. Payment is not applied until the time of the appointment.

Therapy can sometimes feel inaccessible, and this is a barrier for some when it comes to accessing the services they need. In some circumstances, we can discuss payment options and whether a sliding scale fee is right for you.

Cancellation & No-Show
Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours notice for any appointments you need to cancel or reschedule.

When you book an appointment with me, that appointment slot is set aside as yours. I understand that plans can change due to circumstances beyond our control, because life happens outside of the therapy room!

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will make every attempt possible to accommodate your appointment changes, if you provide at least 24hrs notice. This way we can discuss cancellation or rescheduling options that suit you to avoid a no-show or late cancellation fee. We can also switch to a virtual session with enough heads-up if need be.

Please note though, that in the event of a missed or last-minute cancelled appointment without 24hrs prior notice, you may still be billed at the full session rate.
